Summary of the Leadership Meeting on Environmental Sustainability in the Post-2015 Development Agenda

The Global Thematic Consultation on Environmental Sustainability in the post 2015 Development agenda held its Leadership Meeting in Costa Rica, on March 18-19th. Co-convened by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and co-hosted by the Governments of Costa Rica and France, it was sought how to integrate environmental sustainability in any future development agenda.

The meeting reviewed the first phase of the consultation, and identified areas of consensus and areas where further work was needed. Click here to read the summary of the Discussion Notes received during the first phase of the consultation.

As one of the co-leads of the consultation we would like to provide a clarification to the link provided above which links to the summary of the Discussion Notes received during the first phase of the consultation rather than a summary of the meeting held in Costa Rica. The co-chairs summary of the meeting is being developed now and will be shared soon.
